We are really doing it different I'm kinda sure yonathan will come and say he does it different than both of our ways , anyways nice tutorial but those red parts need texture animations if they have it in their m2's better to go matrix eater way otherwise you'll have to make one which I'm not good at but yonathan sure is , also you can add particles of the blades with matrix eater too
Great tutorial for basics! Anyway, I don't need CASC for complete export, wow model wiever allows saving m2 models directly, when you right click on them, at elast mine do that. Although I cannot speak for animations.
hey, i followed your guide and everything worked fine till the first time using the sequence editor in MDLVIS. when i try to use it MDLVIS says 'Access violation at address 0040285D in module MDLVis.exe. Read of address 00000000'. any suggestion what i have made wrong?
Edit: Redid every step and now it works. great tutorial btw!
OK, next problem^^ when i try to open the shoulder-.mdx in Magos i get the Error "Unkwon tag "KP2R" in ParticleEmitter2!". i used "Radiant Lightbringer Shoulderguards (HC)" as shoulders. i followed your tutorial. is there anything i can do or is it not possible to convert the soulders because of their glow?
alternativel: does anybody else have trouble accessing the blogspot? I remember I used to go there all the time but now it seems to be locked.

yourarthas: Ah yeah Henry shot it down sadly
Feb 9, 2020 18:03:28 GMT 1
alternativel: BTW is there any way to recover the models that were there? it really used to be a gold mine back in the day
Feb 9, 2020 20:23:07 GMT 1
alternativel: also and I'm gonna sound like an idiot now, how can I post images in this forum, it's been so long and I'm would like to upload some of my models as a way to recover them in case my hard drive dies again
Feb 9, 2020 20:25:18 GMT 1
yourarthas: Well I use mediafire to upload pictures too, about the lost models most of them were already in Yonatan's big model pack

danny117: Big boy request here. Any experienced people that can rip me a chef's hat :,) might even share that I've started back on something
Feb 10, 2020 10:31:34 GMT 1
Nars Arthur: Well, no at the moment, but i would start modelling again;)
Feb 16, 2020 4:01:06 GMT 1
alternativel: I'm sure everyone would love it if you did, BTW, did you play reforged already?
Feb 16, 2020 9:22:32 GMT 1
Nars Arthur: No, not yet. Cuz i see it online, and it has so many bad reviews. Is it really that bad?
Feb 16, 2020 9:42:10 GMT 1
alternativel: for what i've seen, it's worst than that. it feels terribly incomplete, I do however like some of the models and wish I could use them with Classic WCIII
Feb 16, 2020 13:13:00 GMT 1
Nars Arthur: Yeah, i would do that too if its possible, cuz i think that their focus is only in making the better version of the wc3 models, but they didn't do anything to the system.
Feb 16, 2020 15:03:56 GMT 1
Nars Arthur: in fact that there's a lot of bug(if I'm not mistaken) in reforged instead of Warcraft III classic, so instead of playing reforged, i would rather play Warcraft 3 classic with imported reforged models:)
Feb 16, 2020 15:05:58 GMT 1
alternativel: something along the lines of rebirth would be the best choice as of now.
Feb 16, 2020 16:58:20 GMT 1
alternativel: BTW they're starting to pop up reforged models at the hive, wonder how long will it take till someone mades them for WCIII 1.27 and older
Feb 16, 2020 17:04:56 GMT 1
thedoctor: Hey everyone. Dunno if you remember me. I used to participate a lot in the original WCUnderground forum back in 2010-2012
Feb 17, 2020 21:37:56 GMT 1
thedoctor: I assume my models and rips are pretty much gone by now
Feb 17, 2020 21:38:26 GMT 1
alternativel: probably but I don0t know, any models we might know you for?? How long has it been since you were last here?
